Tom appreciates silence, and is prone to escape the rush of his hometown Amsterdam in order to write his music. Accordingly, many of his songs are written on remote places, most of them in Iceland, a notion which is reflected by the minimalistic foundation of piano, beats, layers of vocals, ambient strings and synths on his solo work.
