Immediately following high school, Andrew Johnston (lead singer, guitar) began writing and performing his own songs under the name Sailor in his free-time. Finally, the crowd-funded debut album A Dandelion At First Glance was released on May 29, 2015 when Zeb Worlund (guitar, vocals) joined. 
 In September 2015, the band added the letter "u" to the name Sailour to represent change and to separate them from the 70's British pop band Sailor. On December 8, 2015, Noisetrade.com premiered Sailour's Scuttle EP as one of their 'New & Notable'. 
 Worlund parted ways with the band in December 2016, playing his final, emotional show on Sailour's annual Dead Day Show with Beahm leaving soon after. Sailour opened for The Classic Crime, Matt & Toby, and Civilian to a sold out crowd in May of 2017. The rest of 2017, it seemed as though Sailour was finished until the Times Daily published an article interviewing Johnston about the band where he announced they would still host their annual Dead Day Show with a new lineup. 
 Sailour consists of Johnston (lead vocals, guitar), Patrick Ryan (lead guitar, vocals), and Taylor Jones (drums) of Boxer Joy.
