Биография
Known previously as Genesis, Brendon 'Marley' Waters, reached millions of U.S. homes via America's Got Talent as part of SQ Entertainment, and within a few years saw his name near the top of the Billboard R&B/hip-hop chart. A Boston native, Waters is a songwriter, producer, singer, rapper, and DJ whose first major work was on "Can't Touch This," a single by Interscope artist Colette Carr that featured E-40. The following year, Waters teamed up with DJ Mustard to co-write and co-produce Tinashe's "2 On," a Top Five R&B/hip-hop smash that went platinum in 2014. After Waters established a DJ'ing career, he also began to self-release predominantly club-oriented solo singles that alternated between contemporary R&B, rap, and reggae. Among his most successful tracks were "On to You [Remix]" (2015), "Share My Last" (2016), and "Little Taste ft. Lucky Daye" (2017), all issued as he continued to write for the likes of Kranium, Tory Lanez ("We Can"), Wyclef Jean ("I Swear"), H.E.R. & more. Currently based in Argentina, Waters is working on a new sound inspired by his experience of living and being immersed in Latin American culture. His artist- composed album playlist "69" features a melange of r&b, trap and soul elements. Listen for more.
