    Helen Earth Band is an angular rock band, abounding with complex rhythms, jagged guitar, intertwining harmonies, and atmospheric undertones. Having played in bands ranging from Counterfit to Finch to Weatherbox, the members have a vast and storied history. The San Diego-based quintet was formed by brothers Adam and Marc Allen (vox/guitar), Trevor Vieweg (bass), Jeff Livingston (keys/percussion/vox), and Brian Evans (drums). The group recorded and self-released their first album "Our Own Ghost City" in 2009. Following the departure of Evans and Livingston, the band recorded as a trio for their sophomore album with Marc Allen pulling double duty to record the drums. Aptly named "We Fucking Quit" to express their exhaustion from various setbacks and their newly thinned lineup, the album was released in 2014 via Youth Conspiracy Records.
