Born into a musical family, artistic inspiration has been inherently present throughout Lola’s life. London based musician Lola Lolita, creates intricate compositions, haunting melodies and immersive worlds in her unique take on R&B. The candidness of delivery in Lola’s smattering of performances lend audiences to believe they’ve finally been let in on a guarded secret. Her direct approach to storytelling acts as an opportunity for her audience to do the same, to feel heard. The release of Lola’s debut EP ‘The Sleeping Prophet’ in early 2020 received recognition from NME, i-D, CRACK and more, as well as radio support from Phil Taggart (BBC Radio 1), Jamz Supernova (BBC 1Xtra) and Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC 6Music). Firmly positioning her amongst the UK’s most exciting rising stars.
