Ashley began writing at age four, and her first composition, “Buckle Up for Safety” was a major hit in her family’s minivan. She hasn’t been able to stop writing since. As her most natural way of processing the world, Ashley’s songs are deeply intimate and courageously authentic expressions of her heart. Her current discography includes her debut album, As Far As I Run, a live-recorded worship EP entitled Just A Child, and a Christmas album she produced with her brother, The Overflow. After a several year hiatus from releasing any of her own music, Ashley is thrilled about her upcoming album release, Dad’s Hymnal. Ashley has spent the last several years studying theology, writing with artists and churches, and helping young songwriters find their writing voice. It is her joy to currently serve as the Worship Arts Director at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church in Columbus, OH (where she met and began producing music with her future husband!). Ashley envisions a world where all people see heaven unfolding before their very eyes. So, she creates to help people see. Her eclectic style and tender yet powerful voice pair with her boundless creativity, bold vulnerability, and deep love for Jesus — extending you an invitation into intimacy with the living God.
