Erin (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Katie (bass, vocals), and Anna (vocals, guitar, keyboard) Rauch-Sasseen have been making music together since the womb, growing up across the States and in Europe. Raised on the music of 70s songwriters, funk & soul, and classic film musicals, crafting songs with depth of meaning and the full rainbow of human emotion came naturally to these three sisters. Lyrical drummer Matthew Langner joined the family, painting with influences of Hal Blaine and Matt Barrick. Together these four create a sound reminiscent of Blondie meeting Pet Sounds falling somewhere between Mitski, St. Vincent, and Vampire Weekend. With early performances in New York City in 2010, releasing EPs in 2012, 2013, and their album Run Koko in 2015, Hey Anna has since captured audiences nationally and across the globe. In 2016 they toured North America with The Boxer Rebellion. Hey Anna is currently working on their second full length album. Hey Anna have been played across international airwaves. Their songs play in major retail stores and have been featured on MTV and in indie films. They have been a staple of the NYC music scene for years, with performances at the Northside Festival, Rooftop Films, the NYC Marathon, Break Thru Radio, and CMJ. They've toured in Japan, performed at the Napa Valley Film Festival, and across the United States and Canada.
