Биография

SOPHIA is a band comprised of a small group of best friends. Andrew (keys), Matthew (bass), Salem (guitar), Jett (drums), and J.Michael (vocals). Completely self written, performed, and produced, with production lead by J.Michael and honorary band mate Noah Stephens. SOPHIA is not just a name, but an outlook on the world. The name originates from the Greek word ‘Wisdom’, a word that encapsulates the heart of the young bands music. 
 After coming together early 2021, the boys reordered their debut EP ‘HEALING’ later that same summer. J.Michael says about the origin of the songs: “This is a project conceived during a time of newfound brokenness. When security was lost and all I could do was listen, this is what I heard.” The band then gripped these song ideas and ran with them, with the end result being the ambitious debut you hear now. 
 This first project is only half of the beginning, and just a small scratch on the surface of what this band has to offer. They have plenty up their sleeves, so be sure to keep an eye out for SOPHIA, because if you blink you might just miss it.
