V.X.D is an Australian producer and songwriter based in London. Early influences include legendary Australian acts like Split Enz and INXS. Influenced by any thing from 80s and 90s pop such as Prince , Yazoo and Michael Jackson to 90s Grunge acts like Nirvana and Pearl Jam to electro punk masters like Nine Inch Nails and The Prodigy. It was the latters influence and electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk and Daft Punk that got V.X.D into electronic music, with a strong love of Deep House, Funk and Slap House. With tracks like Superstar and Come And Play With Me showing a direction into the FUNKVERSE and new music coming that combined electro funk with synth driven retrowave styles, reminiscent of Cannons and The Weeknd.
