The Los Angeles-based trio—Ela Kitapci [vocals], Michael Sevilla [guitar, vocals], and Jeff Badagliacca [bass, vocals]—bonded over all things including music from bands like The Killers, Local Natives, and Bon Iver to a simple love of the ocean. These things find their way into their music and everyday lives as the band assumes an important responsibility by way of their chosen moniker.
