Created by Rare, BAFTA award winning Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer, shared-world adventure game where the romantic ideals of the pirate life – freedom, adventure, self-expression and loyalty – live on. Composed and recorded by Rare’s Music Director Robin Beanland, Robin won the 2019 Ivor Novello award for Best Original Video Game Score for his work on Sea of Thieves. Joining the company in 1994 with a noteworthy and varied musical background, Robin previously studied under composer Christopher Norton, wrote music for TV and in 2001, Robin won a BAFTA for his work on the Nintendo 64 game ‘Conker’s Bad Fur Day’.
