Биография
The WWW band originated in Prague in the beginning of 90s, i.e. in the period of fall of the the Communistic regimein then Czechoslovakia. WWW was one of the first bands experimenting with rap in the Czech Republic. Later on they started to work with live instruments and diverted from classical rap production. The WWW choose the way of presenting themselves through author’s stylization and definition of hip-hop as a space for authenticity. Neurobeat was published as a second Czech dual disk, which also contains author’s clip production of the band. Music of the WWW fuses procedures of hip-hop, industrial, electronics and free composition in an original way. Texts of Lubomír Typlt provoke the auditorium to take pains with their imagination, their poignancy is augmented by a wide scale of poetic and phonetic means. Texts of Ondřej Anděra exploit the rhythmic possibilities of language at abstract level. For several times the WWW were headliners of big music festivals in both the Czech and Slovak Republics - for instance Colours of Ostrava or Pohoda Festival. WWW published four studio albums all appreciated by critics in both the Czech and Slovak Republics. They obtained the prestigious art award of the Revolver Revue. The WWW were addressed by, and in the course of their existence they have succeeded in a role of support band for artists such as: The Goats, Sinéad O'Connor, Antipop Consortium, Dj Hudson Mohawke, Boys Noize, Public Enemy, Zebra Katz, Young Fathers, Dälek…
