Vocal Works Gospel Choir’s repertoire is a unique crossover of gospel with other genres of soulful and uplifting music including pop, soul, Motown & RnB. VWGC are led by choral director Tim King and have performed throughout the country and abroad. Recent performances include their sell-out shows “Legends”, “Gospel Rocks”, “Broadway Soul” and “Stax of Motown”, on tour with Take That, Reef, The Heavy, Susan Boyle and Kerry Ellis, live session work on BBC1 & ITV, performances for the Rugby World Cup 2015 & Football World Cup 2018, and opening Womad with the Blind Boys of Alabama. They have recorded with artists including Peter Gabriel and Brian May and released five albums and three singles – including ‘This Is Me’ from The Greatest Showman. Their latest album ‘Choired Up‘ features songs including Hallelujah, Anytime You Need A Friend, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and How Will I Know. More info can be found at www.vwgc.co.uk
