An emotionally charged faith-based melodic hard rock trio based out of Nashville, Tennessee, As We Ascend were founded by We as Human's Justin Forshaw and Jake Jones. When the Dove Award-nominated latter band ceased operations in 2016, Forshaw and Jones decided to continue on under a new moniker, and enlisted producer and multi-instrumentalist Robert Venable to join the group.
