Career, Edward E. Bello Pou, better known by his stage name, El Cata. Dominican artist (composer and producer), pioneer of the genre and urban fusion "Mambow" (merengue hip hop) The artist emerged at an early age in the music scene in 1998, born in Barahona, Dominican Republic and raised in New York, USA. Early life, Bello spent most of his time writing songs during high school classes. Discography In 2008 four of his releases became world hits for the international industry achieving the crossover and several important collaborations for the Dominican artist El Cata. His hits such as "I Know You Want Me" for Pitbull, "Loca", "Rabiosa", "Addicted To You" for Shakira, among others have reached nominations from Grammys, Premios Juventud, to double platinums. Since then the artist has remained in the international popular taste. El Cata also has a wide repertoire of collaborations with artists such as, Drake, Gente De Zona, Wy Clef Jean, Gloria Estefan, Juan Majan, Yuri (Mexico), Kat De Luna, Elvis Crespo, among others.
