Sophie van Hasselt is an indie-pop singer and songwriter from Amsterdam. Opening the doors to her imaginative world where she lives in her daydreams. She invites you to her world with layered vocals sounding like inner conversations to pulsating pads and quirky guitars playing in the background. She is a creative soul who loves to express herself through various art forms. Next to music she works as a professional photographer and videographer for brands such as Vogue, Harpers Ba- zaar, Bijenkorf and Calida. Her passion for creating is contagious and inspiring. A nature lover at heart, Sophie spends a lot of time in the French Alps every other month. She finds solace in the change of surroundings, from the bustling city of Amsterdam to the serene mountains. It’s a time of reflection, followed by the birth of new ideas and concepts for her art forms.
