Following a well-worn path is easy. Those who are born into a family of musicians usually follow in their footsteps towards a future packed with hours upon hours of ambitious practising. This is the world that 25-year-old Levent from the tranquil town of Münster grew up in. His father is a professional bassist and booker and his brother is a guitarist, making Levent’s own fascination with music inevitable. Levent started playing piano at the age of six, followed by the drums at ten. He honed his skills for many years until the lessons simply became too strict for him and he broke free from classical music. Fortunately, he was still able to express and develop his skills in the unofficial "family band", not only inside the four walls at home, but also as part of the ensemble of international live acts that his father brought to Europe for gigs. So much for the well-trodden path, because everything changed when Levent was given a basic MIDI keyboard as a gift, took a liking to electronic music and chose to go his own way – Lee Vent was born. A taste of Lee Vent’s unique sound can already be heard in the debut single "I Feel It" feat. Rory J. Williams, which earned over 150,000 streams on Spotify in three weeks and was featured in coveted playlists like “Pop Brandneu” and “Happy Dance”.
