Despite her young age, Agnete has managed to spend over a decade in the music industry. Agnete's music career started in earnest in 2008, when she won the Melodi Grand Prix jr. as a 14-year-old with the band The BlackSheeps and the song "Oro jaska beana" - a song that the same year was awarded the Norwegian Spellemann awards for "hit of the year". In 2016, she won the Melodi Grand Prix with the song "Icebreaker" and represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. Over the years, she has participated in several musical entertainment programmes on TV, and in January 2021 she became relevant again with her participation in the Norwegian television programme "Hver Gang Vi Møtes". Throughout her upbringing, Agnete has been surrounded by wild nature and fresh fjord air in Reahpen, Finnmark. With a band consisting of three musicians and a hand-picked creative team, Agnete launched a new music project in November 2020 inspired by the mighty nature of her hometown. With her powerful voice, beautiful melodies and dark lyrics over climatic pop, she creates a musical universe where she shows a raw and honest side of herself. During the first quarter of 2021, Agnete will finally release new music through several singles that together make up the EP «Tundra».
