Биография

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Jacquelyn Owens is a singer/songwriter with a heart for writing music that inspires and brings hope to others. Her passion for singing came at a young age when she began singing and leading with her church choir. Throughout her high school and college years, she developed her songwriting skills which have gone on to garner her a few awards from organizations such as the Songwriters’ Association of Washington and The Christian Songwriters’ Network. She serves as Worship Director with Chicago-based band, Renew Movement , a group for which she co-wrote “Psalm 91”, a song being used in many churches around the world. As a solo artist, Jacquelyn will soon be releasing her sophomore single, “Kingdom” which is preceded by her debut single, “Lifter”. Jacquelyn loves writing songs for local churches and is passionate about teaching others the art of songwriting and worship leading through various conferences and events.
