Originally from Long Island, NY, Orlando, FL-based KINGS COUNTY creates hard-hitting rock n’ roll with infectious hooks. Inspired by an eclectic combination of The Beatles and 70’s Rock super groups, their songs blend edgy hard rock with strong melodies. The band’s music is somewhat reminiscent of 90's hard rock artists, but with a decidedly modern twist. The band formed when vocalist/bassist Rob Dexter and guitarist Bill Kania met in the ‘90s, when they were both musicians for illusionist Criss Angel. They began playing for Disney World as the house band in 2000 at Disney’s New Years Eve 1999 show, alongside Styx, Hootie & the Blowfish and the B-52's. The band still plays occasional gigs for Disney today. KINGS COUNTY was also house band for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 2011/2012 season. KINGS COUNTY won the iHeart radio original music contest in 2018 with their song “Take It or Leave It”, and was the opening act for Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductees Bon Jovi. KINGS COUNTY released their self-titled debut album on September 27, 2019. Since then they have released numerous singles including their hit song "Bleed These Tears" whose Youtube video has reached over One million views and climbing. KINGS COUNTY also released 3 hard rock covers of the 80's hit song "I Ran (So Far Away)", the Four Seasons hit "Beggin'" and the Beatles classic "Eleanor Rigby". KINGS COUNTY's newest original rocker "Equilibrium" comes out February 18, 2022.
