From the steel city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania stands Terrence James Ellison PKA T.J. Ellison. Ellison came onto the scene in 2009 when he made his commercial debut with his single "Do You Know You Got It?" released by his own Holla 5-9! Records label after parting ways with Sonic Wave America/ Sony BMG. The Pittsburgher grew up writing poems of whatever he could think of at the young age of eight. But after hearing acts such as Naughty By Nature, Kriss Kross, and Snoop Dogg, he developed an interest in hip-hop. His new interest resulted in his writing changing from poems to rap songs. Before the release of his debut single, T.J. put out mixtapes that gained him notoriety and new fans of his music that ranges from conscious to party music. T.J. Ellison has released four albums, "Underestimated" (2011), "Unorthodox" (2012) [under the name Big-T], Be Strong, Stay Strong (2013), and From the Heart (2015) which includes his popular single "Like a Winner" which features a hook and production by Jason Aro of Kloudnine Music. The emcee is currently hard at work on his fifth album titled, "Personal" which includes the singles. "R.E.A.L.," "Take Chances," and "Dream Girl." <br>
