    Dandara is a Brazilian singer, performer and music producer based in Zurich/Switzerland. Poetic, powerful and tropical, she reflects a contemporary Brazilian music with roots in the tradition of Brazilian song and popular Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Throughout her career she has collaborated with several transdisciplinary projects in music, dance, theater, visual arts and performance in Brazil and Europe. A stage artist, she flirts with different artistic languages, and uses music and performance as her main forms of expression. In her most recent album "Estrangeira", Dandara reverberate about the female body in transit, migration, the power of the alterity and ancestrality.
