Founder of the Yacht Club Social Network and YCSN Apparel, Detroit rapper M City JR kicked off his career with a series of virus singles, not viral singles. After spending over a decade on various projects that never came to term, M City JR dropped the popular mixtape "H1N1" in 2010, and his "Salmonella" single dropped in early 2015. He also formed the Yacht Club Social Network and released their track "Mandatory" that same year. M City's solo cut "Addicted to My Ex" became a hit and received airplay well into the summer of 2016.
