Stavanger Gospel Choir was founded in 1988 and has since the successful debut album in 1994 been known for their unique uplifting and urban sound. Just celebrated their 30th year anniversary in 2018 with a new anniversary album, the Choir is still one of the leading choirs in Norway and continue to release new spiritual music, do live TV performances and attend big festivals and concerts in Europe and in Norway. Some Highlights: • Norwegian Music Award – Spellemannsprisen 2013 & 2014 • Gospel Kirchentag 2010/-12/-14/-16/-18 • Tour with Andrae Crouch 2011 • Rogafest 2008 The Choir has attended or been on tour with; Andrae Crouch, Kirk Franklin, Tata Vega, Sigvart Dagsland, Samuel Ljungblahd, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Nico and Vinz, Broiler and Gabrielle, Just to mention a few.
