Houston native and hip-hop creative Cypher the Avatar is a fresh-sounding voice, creating both his own lane and wave. Cypher's music is based on his thoughts, feelings and emotions. Unlike other artists in the scene, Cypher uses unique sounds to allow listeners the chance to understand how full of imagination he is along with his ability to create poetry through music. His quest for knowledge and understanding of the universe along with his insatiable persistence in mastering his craft allows him to blend genres at will to deliver a masterful and meaningful piece of work to his audience. The definition of an independent artist, Cypher not only writes his lyrics but also handles his own recording, mixing and mastering as well as making his own beats. While influences mainly include eclectic sources of music, there are subconscious tones of the Houston sound weaved throughout Cypher the Avatar's tracks. Cypher notes his main influences to be Kid Cudi, Kanye West and Eminem.
