    Monkoora is the moniker of Julie Crawford, a composer, producer and recording artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. She makes intensely eclectic and emotive esoteric pop music. Grounded in new wave as much as it is in dream pop and a spattering of hyperpop, she conjures an otherworldly universe in layered vocal harmonies and organic textures that at times feel dissonant and ominous, at times joyful and serene.
