Rapper, Dylan or as his fans know him Dfunds was born in North London in 2003 where from a young age he would dream of performing and entertaining. Now through his hard work and strong bond between the JTR family his dreams are becoming a reality. Within an oversaturated London music scene Dfunds and JTR have found their niche to thrive in gaining attention from projects such as ‘Scammers elite’ and ‘Are we there yet?’, allowing the group to draw crowds in different cities across the country. However, the path hasn’t been straightforward, growing up in London as a Black British artist, you can easily fall into stereotypes however, Dfunds stayed true to his roots by breaking the mould and continues to pave the way for his unique style of music. Dfunds' bouncy melodic sound encapsulates being true to yourself and your own integrity as he talks about his own life experience and his focused mindset to keep working and developing. Throughout his progression as an artist, he has never overstepped these boundaries reminding those who listen that there are no rules to making music.
