Биография
DJ Tomekk's career is the stuff hip-hop legends are made of. 18 Year old Tomekk (Tomasz Kuklicz) first entered US Djing for Kurtis Blow, with Snoop Dogg, Run–D.M.C., LL Cool J in 1993. He then released a single in 1999 which suddenly became known to a large public in Germany.... "1,2,3 Rhymes Galore" was a huge TOP 10 hit. Legends of the old school like Grandmaster Flash and Flavor Flav met German rappers like Afrob and MC Rene. The chorus is still in the ear almost 20 years later - and also gave the direction for later collabos: "1,2,3 from New York to Germany!" Tomekk brought the streets of New York to Berlin - and vice versa. In 2001 he released his milestone album “Return of Hip Hop (Pioneers Project)". The rest is as much a rap story as it is a current present: Today DJ Tomekk is represented on more than 500 different sound recordings, numerous hits go to his account. He released hits with Lil' Kim, GZA, KRS-One, Ice-T and Xzibit. And on German side Sido, Bushido, Torch, Curse, Fler ,DJ Tomekk works and lives across genres, he knows no fear of contact. Paul van Dyk, SNAP!, Westbam/ML, A good song is and remains a good song - and DJ Tomekk has always had a lot of that. Even though everything under the line can be summed up according to the motto of one of his most famous tracks: DJ Tomekk lives for Hip Hop, then and now.
