Growing up, he was torn between having to face the truth of a harsh reality and the need for a regular childhood. With family being an important part of his life, Mhina was always intent on creating a better future for himself and those around him. While dealing with the ups and downs of his upbringing, Mhina turned to performance art in order to channel his energy, by nurturing his acting, dancing and singing abilities.
