Running for President started as a solo heartbreak project by Jacob Ragusa in 2020, but grew to be much more when college friend and musician Jack Prager was added to the band. The duo, led by a driven campaign management team, would go on to release Shades of Teal as a debut single, then 'Transitions,' a story-driven collection of songs about change and the things that come with it. Their first complete project as a team came in the form of the EP: "What's Gotten into Jack Prager?" This collection of songs was a celebration of the 'Transitions' era coming to an end, but even more so, a celebration of the musical genius and backbone of the band - Jack Prager. Thank you Jack. You saved my life and I owe you the world. More music coming when I am ready. This is Running for President. The campaign starts now.
