Michael Fortvne is a music producer, actor, writer, concept designer and a cinema aficionado based in México City. Founder of La Volta Ros, an independent music imprint, home of the successful artists such Cabizbajo, Dan Solo, Colossio, Die Jungle, Fabio Me Llaman Soltero to name a few, circa 2016, alongside other contemporaries he has been defining the New Mexican electronic sound. Michael Fortvne believes in the power of computers. Michael Fortvne is a man of simple pleasures. Michael Fortvne is a man who dedicates his whole life to the art, music and cinema. Michael Fortvne spoke in class today. Inspired by the psychedelic waves of rock, disco and new wave to express himself, Cinema has a profound influence on his music, this allowed him to create an original identity somewhere between drum machines and guitars. His favorite part of religion is being a sinner. His ear is made of gold and the vibe he radiates with his music on the dance floor is unbelievable. His hair looks like a waterfall of a liquid sun. Besides playing in different countries such as Colombia and Guatemala, he has a music residency at Phonique CDMX and tours the country, performing at Formula 1 private parties, Tennis Openings by Adidas in Acapulco and José Cuervo gatherings to name a few. In 2021 he released alongside Fausto, the dance floor hit “Fantoche”. Releasing in 2023, Adults Only, new album featuring love & darkness. Once again I drank myself into the oblivion.
