Sweet Barrio is a Spanish duo formed by Poochyeeh (vocals) and Maxi Jeremies (guitar) based in Madrid. Their music is a combination of multicultural influences mixing their wildest roots with the elegance of Afro-American music. Sweet Barrio develops a very personal look towards a neighborhood reality strongly influenced by globalization. They represent a consequence of the transformation that Spanish society has undergone in recent years, where tradition is increasingly mixed with all kind of languages. Sweet Barrio released their first single with a clear statement of intentions. "Amarrao", was the debut song followed by “Trouble Woman” the second single of this wild and modern group.
