The Chris Pérez Band was formed by Grammy Award-Winning Guitarist, Songwriter, and Best-Selling Author Chris Pérez. Deeply connected to their Hispanic heritage but loving the vibe of American Rock, the Chris Pérez Band is a Latin Rock band infused with English and Spanish grooves, swaggering guitar riffs, stadium-sized hooks, and captivating lyrics. The band won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album for their album 'Resurrection', beating out many notable acts. In this album, Pérez dedicated his English crossover hit song, “Best I Can”, to his wife, the late Latin superstar, Selena. Chris Pérez was also the lead guitarist for Selena y Los Dinos and A.B. Quintanilla’s music group, Los Kumbia Kings. Throughout the years, Pérez collaborated on studio projects such as DMC of Run-DMC, Rome of Sublime, Travis Barker of Blink-182, and many others. Netflix's 2020 release of Season 1 & 2 'SELENA: The Series', skyrocketed to #1 and put the spotlight back on Pérez and Selena y Los Dinos. That same year Pérez's band made a comeback with sold-out shows before the COVID-19 pandemic shut the world down. In 2022, Chris Pérez steps up to the microphone and sings lead vocals for the first time ever on his upcoming single “Pushing Ahead”. Released via Malaspalabras Records, founded by legendary performer George Lopez & Santana lead vocalist Andy Vargas. CPB also makes their triumphant return headlining the State Fair of Texas in Dallas and is first show since pandemic.
