Black Flight Collective artist Young Scoe picked up a pen at the age of 8. Though already deeply in love with music, making his own seemed a distant dream that only a chosen few are privileged to enjoy. Upon seeing his eldest brother [Small Talkin' Protege] rapping over an instrumental one morning, this all changed. He saw someone who was not chosen by a record label performing at a level far beyond anything he'd ever heard. As you can imagine this sparked a fire in Scoe. And as we would love to hear the story of a natural talent blossoming at godspeed; this was not the case for Scoe. Not as naturally talented as his closest label mates, Scoe was forced to learn every stage forwards and backwards musically; and he wouldn't have it any other way. As the years passed he began producing and recording for himself; playing his first show at only 12 years old. Hip-Hop is a way of life for Scoe. After years of relentless work ethic, he has crafted a lyricism and flow we believe to be a true force in the name of MCs everywhere. To date the 23 year old MC has been active in the music industry from 2012 to the present. The latest release from Young Scoe; The second installment of LEAP EPs came and gave emphasis to the journey of creative and sonic exploration and determination thus far.
