Биография
Wordsmith is a songwriter, poet, recording artist, actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist from Baltimore, MD. In 2009 he opened his independent label "NU Revolution Entertainment" and has released 8 albums over his career. A Grammy Voting Member since 2016, Wordsmith earned winner of Best Rap/Hip Album for Perspective Jukebox at the 16th Independent Music Awards and has brought his influential music to Azerbaijan, Haiti, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Angola, Ukraine, Panama, Tunisia and Tanzania! Wordsmith continues to use his platform to strengthen partnerships with major brands like: Netflix, ESPN, NFL Network and WWE to name a few. To date, Wordsmith's music has been featured in hit shows like Russian Doll 1& 2 Soundtrack, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Preacher (AMC), SKAM FRANCE All Seasons, NBA 2K21 Next Gen Soundtrack and many more! Always looking for a new challenge Wordsmith set his sights on working with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. In 2017 he wrote original narration for Saint-Saens: Carnival of the Animals and hosted the 2018 BSO Gala with special guest Cynthia Erivo. Officially becoming an Artistic Partner in September 2020, Wordsmith teamed with Baltimore composer James Lee III to premier “Destined Words” and "Freedom's Genuine Dawn." Reinterpretations of Stravinsky’s “The Soldier’s Tale” and "Beethoven Ninth" are in the works as Wordsmith prepares for landmark performances for years to come.
