Splitzide, (pronounced split-side); a hip-hop artist who pulls us into his world through the factual accounts of his life. He cannot be imitated or replicated; he has traveled below the bottom layers of this life and ended up on top. This is the story of an artist who has seen the negative, and has evolved into something very positive. 
 By the age of fifteen Splitzide was forced to fend for himself; he began renting an apartment and living on his own. Shortly after, Splitzide left High School looking for immediate gratification and a way to survive. With no real supervision he took advantage of his surroundings and began making money on the streets. 
 Splitzide wound up serving over four months in prison and this symbolized a turning point in his young life. Knowing that prison was nowhere to live, he began taking advantage of the time by writing and setting goals for his eventual release. Splitzide penned the lyrics to Trapped and Make My Bail, two tracks off his album, 2 Sides Of The Story while incarcerated. 
 Through his constant evolution as a person and as an artist, Splitzide began cashing in on years of introverted thought and began making music. His style is so genuine because it is born from his life experiences. This is not about wanting to be a gangsta and Splitzide sheds that image whenever possible, this is about writing and sharing the experiences that have shaped his life.
