Since 2014 ZOMBIE RIOT have successfully been fighting the approaching zombie apocalypse with their old school Death Metal salvo. The first eruption was unleashed in 2016, incarnated in a 4-track demo-EP called "Nuclear Zombie Massacre", followed by the first live riots in and around their hometown Hannover. In early 2017 the track "Violence" was recorded and released on the "Krachnacht vol.5" sampler and the "Support The Underground" CD compilation. In 2018 their well received debut album “Reign Of Rotten Flesh” was finally released on Unholy Fire Records. A variety of live massacres then took the band to clubs and festivals throughout Germany. But all this was just a rough initial hammerblow, sculpturing the planets tombstone, which will be known as the bands second album "World Epitaph", released in early 2023 on Kernkraftritter Records. Still utilizing the old school sledge hammer, more precise, razorlike tools like cutting disharmonies and unexpected turning manoeuvres were deployed, to create the impact, necessary for this challenging mission. ZOMBIE RIOT are brutal and bloodthirsty like never before. Andy Classen's crushing mix provides the brute foundation. With this album, ZOMBIE RIOT will be on their way to turn the stages of the republic into battlegrounds again.
