Mason Summit is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, & multi-instrumentalist whose music contains elements of folk, power-pop, jazz, country, & psychedelic rock. Born & raised in Los Angeles, Mason has performed up & down the California coast & released several self-produced albums of original material. His songs combine introspective, darkly humorous lyrics with eclectic production & inventive arrangements, exploring themes of grief, depression, fate, injustice, & mortality. In May 2020, Mason graduated Magna Cum Laude from the USC Thornton School of Music, releasing his latest album, Negative Space, the following month. In addition to his solo work, Mason has produced, performed, and recorded with peers such as Irene Greene, Jensen McRae, Jaw Talk, Ali Angel, & Cameron Scott Roberts. Proudly committed to numerous social & political causes, he has played at events for the Autism Think Tank, March for Our Lives CA, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, & Save Our Stages. Mason & Irene Greene formed The Prickly Pair in 2021 & have released four angsty Americana singles since.
