Together they formed a pop R&B group: GAC In 2011 she began her education at university, taking Jazz & Pop Performance as her major.Learning new aspects of music helped to broaden her references for her own singing; she was inspired by R&B, soul & jazz songs//She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance in 2015. Cantika listened to Beyoncé, Solange, Robert Glasper, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, India Arie, Jhené Aiko, Cleo Sol, SZA, Summer Walker, Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, John Legend and many more. ODE TO BLUE - Cantika's first solo EP was released in October 2021. Following the release of Star Over, SIGN, Cantika began work on Ode To Blue. In order to create her desired sound, Cantika worked with Kenny Gabriel and Marco as the music producer. The album featured a range of guests including rappers Rayi Putra, as well as singer-songwriter Kamga & Imelda Lizal. Her goal is to accept every feelings that she felt, embrace it and turn it into music. Music is the safest place for her to be vulnerable and just say things out loud, without the fear of judgements.
