I Lit the Sun was formed in the early 2010s by members of former bands Iscariot and Anno Miseria. The group's debut album Horizon was released in 2015. After the debut, I Lit the Sun gigged for a while before deciding to hit the studio again to record the successor to Horizon. Various unfortunate circumstances resulted in the new album taking a while, but Dolorem is currently scheduled for release in the summer of 2022, following a series of single releases from the album. The band's members are William Lilleås, Stian Dale Petersen and Espen Moe - all hailing from Tønsberg, Norway.
