Michael Kraun (pronounced Michael "crown") is an alternative hip-hop artist from Queens, NY, who speaks on mental health and social commentary through his music. His four released projects - any minute, Downtime Pt. 1, Downtime Pt. 2, & Downtime Pt. 3 - have accumulated over 800,000 total on-demand streams. The Downtime series is the evolution of Michael Kraun’s sound, from jazzy lo-fi hip-hop to lyrical soulful records, and is partnered with and co-signed by leading YouTube beatmaker and producer Omito Beats. Michael is quickly establishing his presence in the New York City music conversation while putting on for his hometown of Queens.
