Биография
Melbourne producer Roland Tings (Rohan Newman) seemed to materialize out of nowhere in 2012, piquing the attention of Australia’s dance community. Coupling hyperactive energy with hypnotic synth programming, the young producer filled Melbourne’s house parties and basement clubs with his kinetic house music. Shortly thereafter Roland began releasing with labels 100% Silk and Internasjonal. Eventually, Roland graduated from the underground to the festival circuit, supporting artists like Jamie xx, Todd Terje, Nick Murphy, Palms Trax and Chrome Sparks on tour. In 2017, Roland Tings joined Cascine to release his Each Moment A Diamond EP. A fusion of euphoric techno and propulsive house, the EP shines equally bright on the dance floor as it does in headphones. Roland rounded out a banner year with the one-off release of One Hundred (feat. HIGH HØØPS). Roland has since released Salt Water, his sophomore full-length, which emerged from the waves of The Great Ocean Road — a massive stretch of scenic highway hugging the southern coast of Australia — and recently the First Wave EP, a return to Roland's instinctive approach of making music. One that captures the feeling of a euphoric come-up inspired by fleeting moments of beauty.
