Биография
Tinpan Orange are one of Australia’s most loved indie-folk bands. With the ethereal and mesmerising Emily Lubitz at the helm, joined by her brother, guitarist Jesse Lubitz and violin virtuoso Alex Burkoy, Tinpan Orange’s heavily stylised dark-folk music combines the highest levels of song-craft with an aching, sweeping romanticism. Their new single Going Home is a moody folk-pop song that sees angelic and striking lead singer Emily Lubitz effortlessly sings about the anxieties of unfulfilled potential, all the while hinting at the beauty waiting in the wings. Going Home was recorded, mixed and produced by award-winning Melbourne producer Anna Laverty (Eagle And The Worm, The Peep Tempel, Washington) and was written by guitarist Jesse Lubitz. To launch Going Home, the trio return to Europe in July & August for a nine date run of boutique German festivals including Haldern Pop Festival, Burning Eagle, Fluxbau Berlin and Dresden Songwriter Palais. The band have toured with Martha Wainwright, The Cat Empire, Jen Cloher and The Waifs, they have toured North America and Europe, won Triple J Unearthed 2013 and Emily's voice was heard by 140 million people for having sung the train safety viral sensation 'Dumb Ways To Die'. <br>
