Born in 1985 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Released 4 albums and 1 EP. Hard to place in one single box because she has collaborated with many different people in many different styles... Leonie: "I can't write the same song twice and I love being around passionate musicians and producers even when this means transcending different genres. I love that. But in the end...it kind of always starts with a guitar or a piano and that's the essence of a song. But if it remains that way or it turns into a dance track...I just love that process. But in the end...yes, you can wake me up at night to listen to a good folk/country song (and ice cream).
