The Company Of Amateur Souls is the project of Mike Dowey working with his long-time collaborator Lawrence Perry Top (aka La. P. Top). Together they write, arrange, produce and perform indie pop/rock and folk songs and share them with the whole world (albeit only 1 person in each country :-) ) Amateurs by name (and by the fact that there is no money being made) they do however take the music seriously and a lot of love goes into these tunes. At heart perhaps but not young anywhere else so don’t be surprised by the hints of 60’s 70’ and 80’s in the songs although they are influenced by modern pop and EDM too; in fact dad dancing refuses to be limited by genre or decade.
