    Born in the year 2000 in her parent's home town Kolkata, Anushka was swept up by the diaspora and raised in Zambia. From there emerged an eclectic personality that struggled with her ability to feel emotions a little more intensely than others. As a means of catharsis she turned to the world of music as early as the age of 4. As she navigates the beginning of her music career, she drops her first single inspired by the name her parents used to call her Resham (silky) "Silky Slime(feat Mars-ZM and Yxng Daddah)”. Her Debut EP “FLOAT” was released shortly after as she experiments with different sounds and gets comfortable in the realm of music of the night and day Anushka finds herself being completely immersed in her multicultural musical influences.
