This is LIGHTSPEED. This Belgian four-piece explores their fondness of atmospheric guitarism and lyrical prowess into exhibiting a sincere display of indie rock. Influenced by bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines and wordsmiths like Leonard Cohen; LIGHTSPEED strolls through an extensive landscape of sound and ambience to deliver what feels like a daydream in outer-space. Debut single If We Could Learn to Fly describes the destructive naivety that tends to manifest itself in the aftermath of a deteriorated relationship, while equally observing the transition towards acceptance and recovery.
