Walkingshoe is a singer songwriter and producer who first gained traction in the music world by producing for hip-hop artists in Chicago, notably Towkio, ShowYouSuck, and Qari. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most sonically sturdy, yet wavy and fun producers. Now as a solo artist, Walkingshoe takes on an entirely different form. Fueled by his love for classic songwriting and guitar riffs, Walkingshoe’s indie-rock/folk songs are sharp and refined. Only now emerging as a live performer and force in the Chicago scene, Walkingshoe’s self-titled debut album ("Walkingshoe") is a great collection of songs that feel right in any setting.
