For over 15 years, musical duo Stonecraft has continued to captivate both small and large audiences with their combination of acoustic guitar melodies and traditional Celtic instruments and sounds. With compositions that deliver a high magnitude of originality and Celtic-rock feel, Stonecraft creates a haunting discography that is influenced by a variety of musical genres and literary references from the Progressive rock movement along with the folk revival of the late 1960s. Welshman and vocalist Andy Morgan whose talents range from playing the bouzouki, cittern, mandolin, and guitar, and Norwegian guitarist and vocalist, Viil Hov Fjøse are the heart and soul of Stonecraft and they have, to date, recorded and released four, critically acclaimed albums. Their fourth album, Seven Hunters, was released in 2017 and paints a very vivid picture of the band and its uniqueness within the British folk-rock genre. With hundreds of live concerts ranging from small neighbourhood pubs to large stages in festivals, Stonecraft brings their audiences into a new world where they will become entrapped by otherworldly instrumentals and spine-tingling harmonies and vocals. Now located in Oslo, Norway, after many years spent in Brittany and Wales, the duo is continuing to work on new material that will further reflect their fifteen years of creation, beauty, and experimentation with Celtic and Viking storytelling tradition.
