Ferdinand Aragon is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Cebu City. His first songwriting stint was when he joined and won a local songwriting competition in 2018. At the same year, he interpreted his own entry at the prestigious national competition PhilPop 2018: Top 30. He placed 1st runner-up with the song Di ko Man. From then on, he has been joining local and national competitions and has been releasing His own songs. He is currently working on several more songs written in the Cebuano, Filipino, and English languages to be released in the future. His latest release, Disinasadya, is a pop rock song that tells of the romantic struggle of having a crush. The epic rock band instrumentation strongly intertwines with the ethereal incorporation of orchestra and chorale, similar to the works of Ben&Ben, NOBITA, Arthur Miguel, etc. A downward chromatic chord progression recurs in the entire song that sums up the tense yet dreamy mood the protagonist must be feeling.
